Korean Youngone Group to expand in Dhaka EPZ

   The Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority, and Savar Dyeing and Finishing Industries Ltd, on Sunday signed an agreement to this effect, a release said. Prasanta Bhushan Barua, member (investment promotion) of BEPZA and M Shahabuddin, general manager of Savar Dyeing and Finishing Industries, have signed a lease agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

   The release said 100 per cent foreign company would enhance their production space with additional investment of 6.5 million dollar, which would make the company’s total investment in the EPZ at 13 million dollar.

   The company will also create new job opportunity for 250 Bangladeshi nationals while 400 Bangladeshi nationals are already working in this unit.
   
Savar Dyeing and Finishing Industries is currently producing nylon and taffita and in addition they will manufacture polyester fabrics.
